Has Minister Farrakhan Knocked Out Their Brains?

Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, so it knocks out its brains, and lo! it vanishes. And woe to you for what you describe!

The Simon Wiesenthal Center has represented itself to its Jewish clientele as a tireless protector and merciless guard dog seeking and destroying “anti-Semitism” “wherever it rears its ugly head.” Its co-founder, a rabbi named Abraham Cooper, is paid handsomely to scan the horizon to “defend the safety of Jews worldwide.” And by wearing the hallowed name of the alleged Nazi-hunter Simon Wiesenthal, the center gives American Jews a secure sense of Never-Again-ness. And just as Wiesenthal’s Nazi-tracking claims have been proved to be vastly overblown falsehoods, so too have the intellectual qualifications of those that trade on his name.

And when the center targets The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, as it is wont to do, it allows us to examine a mind and mentality that has clearly deteriorated in the face of its most forthright challenge since the days of Jesus. Abraham Cooper, a “rabbi,” once again teamed with Harold Brackman, an “historian,” to remark on The Minister’s brilliant 2012 Saviours’ Day address, a spiritually rich opus of enlightened guidance. That the Jewish duo commented is not surprising, but the way they presented their objections is indicative of a Jewish intelligentsia in serious decline. Their “critique” in the New York Daily News, titled “Farrakhan’s tired repertoire of hate,” is significant because it is not a critique at all, as it contains no serious criticism, no cogent appraisal or analysis, no worthy examination of the Minister’s positions or point of view.

The panoply of subjects he covered in his annual State of the World Address was extraordinary in its scope, and included an analysis of Pres. Barack Obama’s political situation, the decline of America—its debt, weather, and wars, its mind-boggling sycophancy to the state of Israel, its continued blunders in the Middle East, its impending war against Iran—the proof that 9/11 was committed by the government, the cultural corruption engineered by Hollywood, the deceitful Federal Reserve system, Obama’s historical relationship to Lincoln, and an economic plan crafted by The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad for Black rejuvenation and Black independence. The Minister’s agenda terrifies the beneficiaries of white supremacy, but it is the only agenda that will lead Black people back to accepting their rightful title of REAL Children of Israel.

In their simple-minded tirade, Brackman and Cooper could not muster a response to any of the topics raised by The Minister, veering off instead to something more akin to a trashy reality TV episode designed to arouse the lynch’em-high impulse of the common American klansman. Though they have achieved titles that would ordinarily indicate they have imbibed the rich traditions of intellectualism, “Rabbi” Cooper and “Doctor” Brackman reach instead for emotional triggers that evoke fear, anger, hate, and violence, and not reason, analysis, dialogue or resolution. To wit: the “outrageous and offensive” Farrakhan “erupted”
